History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Revenge; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Eida hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to gnolls.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and someone believes her a fraud

Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright red and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He wears his silver hair up. This blue eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his youth he was a Masseuse, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He has worked as a Bookbinder like his father before him.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bookbinder and was forced into it by his family; and to share knowledge with the world
