Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Gardain was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Gardain's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He worked as a nervous Merchant and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Merchant and was forced into it by his family; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: Enidda was born the youngest of three triplets. Her first spouse was a Tailor, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
