History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Diesa liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying north to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Cook for hire.
