History: He was born on a small isolated farm. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears blue painted combat armor at almost all times, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His auburn hair is thinning but still full. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: The child of a Fortune-teller, who enjoyed hunting, Zook was taken on many hunting expeditions. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Zook never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Born to a Guard, her father struggled to pay the bills. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
