History: Aelar hails from a village terrorized by giants. At some point he was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it.
