Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Half-Elves. His skin is light but he possesses many red ritualistic tattoos. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His white hair and beard is wavy and long. His eyes are brown and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing red cape and mantle trimmed with soft violet waves gently in the breeze. His blonde hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Knight profession.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gifted student she started as a Knight, but she got bored and became a Unemployed. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To be a Knight again; and she has money and likes to spend it

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
