History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving The war was a terrible time for him, and Charles does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
