History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Valanthe grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. A true patriot, Glim would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Glim was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and a deep hatred of illithids

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. After a long history of fighting, Silaqui and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes.
