Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She disdains her fellow easterners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tabaxis in Silent's homeland. Silent decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Silent never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Personality: Cairn speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His first spouse was a Bowyer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and an old rival family wants him found
