Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Shifting was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Shifting's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Shifting and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She got into the Mason business at a young age. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Mason. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 4 years.
