History: He comes from a rich northern family. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Rosalind was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Miner. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
