During his travels, Dworic and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Dworic discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Dworic fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Jocelyn was born the youngest of three triplets. Jocelyn was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Jocelyn decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
