History: Meriele lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has achieved small success as a Sellsword.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
