History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Therlin was born on a far northern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Gardener. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: An older woman who wears a worn and beaten armor, she is not a threatening figure. Her hair is short and auburn. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Malquis hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Malquis hails from a village terrorized by drow. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Malquis was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He is dressed in a clean black cloak covering his clean studded leather. He wears his brown hair down. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and wants to work out more often
