History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Vanuath was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bookbinder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her childhood dream was to be a Bellfounder, but she was a colossal failure. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
