History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He found a children's book about a Elf Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. After months of barely getting by, Ivellios managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

History: Vlorn was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Paela is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born in the north to a Cartwright, Paela learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Paela was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She became a Cartwright soon after.
