He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He became a Navigator soon after.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He is a Maurezhi in disguise. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Unemployed. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Unemployed. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Sweet never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: Sarai was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
