History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Verna took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shortspear and armor she uses now. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and seeks redemption

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Kellen is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has never given up on his singing dream.
