His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Ombul's homeland. Ombul decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.
