History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Kava alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Mercenary they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Scribe, and she later adopted a second son.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and he desires power and/or immortality
