History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Quillathe was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. She now owns her own business.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Zanna grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Zanna. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
