History: Hadarai hails from a village terrorized by giants. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and regain custody of his son

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Lavinia alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Many gnolls want her driven away; and someone believes her a fraud

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and to unite with his sister
