History: Born in the east to a Slave Trader, Avelina learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Avelina alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
