Description: He is a pot bellied southern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He is dressed in a clean brown cloak covering his clean studded leather. His tied-back hair is black. His green eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Richard hails from a village terrorized by goblins. His childhood dream was to be a Jeweler, but he was a colossal failure. He became a Spice Merchant soon after.
Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: This man wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his nunchaku with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He keeps his white hair in a flapper bob. His blue unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and he is wracked by social anxiety

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.
Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and money/treasure
