Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Gifted from a young age, Mormo studied abroad. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Mormo alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A gifted student he started as a Blacksmith, but he got bored and became a Barber. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She is a Sailor first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 15 years.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and many dire rats want her driven away
