History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Serpent was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tabaxis became a terror of the countryside. He became a Cartwright soon after.

Description: Her skin has the orange glow of too much sun. She has the majority of her body covered in plate. Her white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: She got into the Bookbinder business at a young age. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He very much looks the part of a Guard. His white hair is still thick. He has several tiny opal earrings on each ear.

Personality: Rael hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his singing career. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: He wears a violet vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His black leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his violet boots flare out at the collars. His white hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He has amber eyes and a violet hat with a black feather.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Shoemaker business.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shoemaker. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
