History: The child of a Tanner, who enjoyed hunting, Margery was taken on many hunting expeditions. A gifted student she started as a Tanner, but she got bored and became a Painter. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Painter.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
