History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Barrister hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. During her travels, Sarai and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Sarai discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Sarai fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
