After coming to the age of reason, Kite took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and many dire rats want her driven away

Description: This slender man stands about 6'7". He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He has done his best to style his brown fur to look like a famous performer. His blue unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Description: Her right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She wears baggy yellow pantaloons and a grey scarf. She has slicked back auburn hair. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are violet.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Beatrice took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up mace and armor she uses now. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Mary liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Roofer for the past few years.
