History: Marastyr was born the youngest of three triplets. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

History: Gifted from a young age, Shane studied abroad. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Shane alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Shane was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.
