History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Varis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Varis. Being a Hunter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Half-Orc culture. A true patriot, Laucian would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born into a rich family. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He tends to his Shipwright job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: Shautha was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
