Upon awakening, Anakis discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Anakis fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: Born to a Bookbinder, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carpenter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He became a Carpenter soon after.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

History: Borun lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Borun liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well.
