History: He was born in a small desert village. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Dadalan took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up monstrous two handed axe and armor he uses now. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: River lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. River was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

His father taught him the rudiments of the Banker arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
