History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He has achieved small success as a Carter.

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She wears a brown deerstalker hat and brown clothes. Her fur, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. Her eyes are blue and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. Shadow liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Roland's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. After coming to the age of reason, Roland took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: She was born into a rich family. Through the years after Barbena was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Barbena's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Barbena and her spouse have recently divorced.
