History: She was born on a small isolated farm. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and he wants revenge against giants

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge, and a wedding ring on his left hand. He has moderate length golden hair. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his feathered blue hat.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. Broce is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Broce hails from a village terrorized by giants. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear
