History: Efferil hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy silver hair. His brown eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. Ortegar enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in the south to a Bricklayer, Ortegar learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Kody hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Servant they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Spy, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he wants revenge against dire rats

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Oskar grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and to reunite with his old friends
