Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears a brown cloak and cross-gartered black stockings. He wears his gray fur down. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it
