History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bookbinder. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Patrin is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Patrin grew up listening to his father's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Akmen wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Rogue, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Helgret's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. A freak accident while working with her Map Maker father left her crippled. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with her old friends
