History: Cressel was born the youngest of three triplets. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sage. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Born in the east to a Map Maker, Peter learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. He has achieved small success as a Map Maker.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with her Junk Dealer mother left her crippled. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Shoemaker and was forced into it by her family; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying south to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it
