Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While she appears to be a normal Tiefling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in.
