History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. After months of barely getting by, Paymon managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: Gifted from a young age, Phann studied abroad. While she appears to be a normal Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many gnolls want him driven away

Description: This woman wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized tan coat. She is muscular with a powerful set of arms. She keeps her blonde hair in a flapper bob. Her hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. The war was a terrible time for her, and Veloptima does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When Veloptima reached her early adolescence her Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
