She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Ranala took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up bow and armor she uses now. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A gifted student she started as a Miller, but she got bored and became a Barber. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Being a Barrister kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs.
