In her 19th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

History: He got into the Architect business at a young age. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dragonborns became a terror of the countryside. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Sorath grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Sorath. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Personality: Curran hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gifted student he started as a Guard, but he got bored and became a Servant. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and a strong sense of loyalty to tiefling people
