History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the north were limited. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Whurbin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tieflings in Gomory's homeland. Gomory decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Bertram was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He struck the Carter job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Foxilon was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and many orcs want him driven away
