Description: She wears white leather gloves, a white jacket, and tight pants. She carries a battered hammer and tarnished bow as well. Her hair is auburn and very short. Her violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Vani grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Vani. She became a Doctor soon after.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He takes great joy in being the best Tanner in town.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. In his youth he was a Shoemaker, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He became a Tanner soon after.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Tanner and was forced into it by his family; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This man is dressed in a clean black cloak covering his clean studded leather. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. He sports a flattop crest cut. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Shamash was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Painter, but he got bored and became a Courier. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To protect his home; and he is unsatisfied with his job
