He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.

Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Baern was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Barendd grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.
