Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Shanairla took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up falchion and armor she uses now. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: Armara lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and to end her boredom
