History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Interpreter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and balancing his hectic life and new interpreter responsibilities is difficult

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Varis never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
