History: Born to a Healer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Cory was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Cory's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has achieved small success as a Scribe.

History: Kallista was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She's also a talented Merchant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
