History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Description: She wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress), but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 3'2" when asserting herself. Her hair is long and brown with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small white clips. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. The war was a terrible time for her, and Olivia does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. When Olivia reached her early adolescence her Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She became a Beggar soon after.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
